    "Loosers' happy playground" compo ;)

Situation here is rather tense, so I got an idea how to relax it and how to make some more fun of this competition for those who are not in the game any more. I would like to encourage you to publish links to your games, so everyone can play it - it would be sad if those games got dusty and forgotten on our hard drives.

Moreover I propose the little community-competition with rules as follows:

You have 5 days to enrol your game on the competition. Which means: submit a link to playable game and video on this thread (game play manual would be welcome if you don't have one already...). If you don't want to be judged by other competitors, but still feel urge need of showing your game - post a link and mark that you don't want to be judged :)

After that time poll will be published on a separate thread, and we (which means registered competitors of Imagine Cup) will judge according to the following criteria:

    - Awesomeness of a game: 100%

Description: How much fun did you have playing that game?

Voting closes at June 30th, 23:59 GMT.

Rewards: there is an open pot for the rewards: anyone can add something to the pot along with terms of receiving/sending the reward. You cannot put into the pot: living, bio-hazardous, radioactive and gross stuff - which should be obvious ;)

And that's all! Ready, Steady, Go! (Registration closes at June 7th, 23:59 GMT)

ever tried. ever failed. no matter. try again. fail again. fail better

Obviously Demoscene Spirit (our team) signs for the competition, but unfortunately I have a poker game in one hour and don't have time right now to upload an entry :)

But! In the name of Demoscene Spirit I throw to the pot the following rewards:

    - Five bottles of Polish beer. For those, who prefer constant sobriety: alcohol-free version.

    - Five pairs of socks. You cannot have to much socks, you know? And you can always replace those with holes with a new pair :D

Rewards will be sent "on reasonable price" and only if it's possible according to the law. Otherwise - equivalent in socks will be sent. Come on? Is there any country which forbids import of socks?

There we go http://floatingkoalagames.com/download/ (imagine cup contestants might be interested in the ZIP-version, since the frameworks are already installed)

A small off-topic sidenote: I was thinking about creating a simple archive of this year's ImagineCup, with link to website, small description, media (videos/screenshot), and download link in an overview. If people are interested, I'll create a seperate thread.

Please also take note of my post here: http://imaginecup.com/forums/t/13525.aspx where I ask for links, etc so I can include them in my blog series on all the games from Round 2.

It wasn't clear to me that you requested links/etc. Maybe create a simple template with the stuff you want in you blogposts (sitelink, description, video's, game download, etc), so that everyone who wants to be published can fill this in?

This link alone contains the link to download the game, and the video presentation. I hope people have fun with the submission build! : ]

Hope you enjoy our game.(it is still being polished but until the final version this one will give a good idea of what our team wanted to achieve).

Awesome that you've released the source code to your game! I'll run it by the team, so we can perhaps release it as well. (It is a bit of a mess though, last-minute crunching for round 2 and all...)
