I'm waiting for the end of this day, because Rand told us this date for Round 2 results announcement. Then we will get statistics from Valy, I'm sure in it. I cannot tell you more details because I do not receive the name, university and contry of competitors. Roland: We are discussing to finish the evaluation this day, but is not a 100% exact date to publish the results. All resoults from each judge are send to Microsoft for validation. There are 4 criteria of evaluation and we must justify every point for each student. After that there will be a suplimentary validation process with each University for Top 6 competitors. The best answer for publishing resoults is: these days ;) I know all of you have great emotions. I say that from my point of view was very difficult to assess because many solutions have been extraordinary, full of innovation, new ideas and optimizations.   Re: When the results will be published? Contact Thanks! I hope mine is also in those group :) This year we have 7,4% chances to get to the final (as Virtual Lab is a Final round). And, looking back in time, last year were 92 submissions and now we've got 81. I think it's a result of level of case study. This year case study was very hard. We're waiting now for statistics (submissions) per country and individual scores of each competitor. Good luck!

As I remember last year the student validation process was after the announcement. It was almost 3 days for me to get the proper certificate from my Universitate. (becasuse of working hours; pay for this certificate, but before wait for the money transfer to Universitate account...) I'm a little bit said, that we have only 9 days left and we don't know the result yet. I think some of us is working now (near by the school or after) and we wanted to ask some day off in case of we are in to prepare for the challange.  Next time I suggest to put the final round 1 month later to give the people at least 3 weeks to prepare. I think usually that is not a problem to evaulate the results for 14 days, but now the clock is ticking, and we are almost there to sleep a big before the 24 hours competition ;) I know you told us to prepare ;) but it is more convenient if we know the result and we have day off. Contact Hi Roland, All resoults are validating now by Microsoft with Universities. I hope, to get the results today or tomowrow. We know that the time is somehow compressed...
